What:Youth Church
Who is it for:Years 7-11 upto and including 6th Form
When: Sundays, 11.00-12.15
Venue: The Ligthouse
What happens: Every Sunday at 11.00am we gather in the Lighthouse our youth and student venue for youth church. You will find a relaxed enviroment with leather sofa's, great worship, dynamic teaching, refreshments, a chance to unpack the days theme in small groups and time to be with friends and make some new ones.
A typical morning looks like this.
- 11.00am Welcome and Whats on this week.
- 11.05am What's the Idea. Using video or interactive ideas we will give you some info about the theme for the day.
- 11.15am Worship.
- 11.30am Gods word Deal or no Deal. Forget getting bored. Most weeks our youth pastor will take us on a journey to discover more about our theme.
- 11.45am Interval - drinks etc.
- 11.50am Discussion Groups. Join a group and discuss further the subject of the day.
- 12.15pm. End.
No two weeks are the same and our service runs at the same time as the adult and kids church services.
We look at a wide range of subjects and ideas and we operate a teaching programme that runs for five years. Our themes for the next few months are going to be about relationships. In the Bible we are descibed as one body, that we need each other and importantly we should love one another. This is easier said than done. So for the first half of 2012 we are looking at Relationships.

Love worshiping God? Get frustrated that time runs out on a Sunday at church? So do we! So every few months we’re holding a worship night to give us loads of time to worship God, hear from some great speakers and to minister to one another in the power of the Holy Spirit. Each event is free so come and join us!
